Vidalengo di Caravaggio: glass wool made in Italy

In Vidalengo di Caravaggio (BG) are manufactured products in mineral wool Isover for thermal and acoustic insulation of roofs, walls, floors in the respect of environment. The plant, built in 1961, covers an area of 300,000 sq. m and thanks to continuous renewal interventions is today one of the most modern production plants of glass wool in the world.
In addition to rolls and panels for insulation in building, in Vidalengo are produced also products for Insulation Technician (HVAC, Industrial, OEM and Naval).
Bituver bituminous membranes come from Chieti Scalo
Through its brand Bituver, Saint-Gobain Isover in Italy, precisely in Chieti Scalo (CH), produces bituminous membranes for waterproofing flat roofs, pitched roofs, bridges and viaducts, retaining walls and foundations, answering all the needs with traditional and special membranes. Bituver also produces felts for sound floor insulation and underlay sheets for vapor control.
Located in the industrial area of Val Pescara, Bituver plant was acquired by Balzaretti Modigliani in 1969 with the name “Protexa”.
In 1972 began the production of bituminized products and was thus initiated a development process that led, subsequently, to the installation of other manufacturing plants, up to the current level of 3 production lines.
Thanks to the continuous search for improvement, the plant in Chieti has been certified UNI EN ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001.
